Buck Company, located in Quarryville, PA, is looking for a motivated and dependable person to join our 2nd shift team as a Metal Pourer. This is a critical, hands-on role where you'll master the craft of transforming molten metal into precision castings.
Who We Are: Buck Company, located in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, is a family-owned foundry dedicated to melding tradition with precision. For decades, we've been manufacturing high-quality metal castings, serving over 55 different industries. What You'll Do:
  • Mastering the Pour: Safely operate hand-controlled ladles to pour and regulate the flow of molten metal into sand molds to produce castings.
  • Ensuring Quality: Skim slag and remove excess metal to guarantee a perfect casting.
  • Being the Muscle: Transport molten metal from the furnaces to the pouring line.
  • Monitoring Conditions: Accurately read temperature gauges and collect samples for analysis, playing a vital role in quality control.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Dependability: Your team will count on you, so regular, punctual attendance is essential.
