We are currently seeking a 5th to 8th year associate to support our Nashville Office's Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess solid and recent real estate transactional experience, including real estate lending and/or joint venture financing, ideally with experience working on transactions involving tax credits. Qualified candidates will have experience drafting senior, real estate secured loan documents and/or real estate joint venture partnership/operating agreements, and will have requisite experience reviewing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys to oversee paralegal title and survey review. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Tennessee and should also have strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
Lawyers in our firm's Real Estate Practice Group represent lenders, national and regional banks, opportunity funds and borrowers in connection with real estate financings, construction loans, equity investments, syndicated investments, portfolio and syndicated credit facilities, tax credit transactions and municipal finance.
Our real estate work involves all types of real estate projects-office, hotel, multifamily and industrial. The firm also represents both purchasers and sellers in connection with real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and both landlord and tenants in connection with commercial leases. Real Estate Practice Group clients include national and regional institutions as well as entrepreneurial and middle market clients who rely on the quality and cost-effectiveness of the firm's legal services.
