    POSITION: Program / Acquisition Manager
    LOCATION: San Antonio, TX, JBSA-Lackland
    REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret / SCI
    POSITION TYPE/STANDARD WORK HOURS: Full-time 40 hours per week
    THE OPPORTUNITY:
    The Program / Acquisition Manager supports the 16 Air Force (AF) Strategic Plans and Programs Directorate (A8), which supports missions and functions for 16 AF Service needs and Air Forces Cyber (AFCYBER). 16 AF and AFCYBER require technical and analytical support in areas relating to planning, implementing, and executing Air Force and Combatant Command (CCMD) missions. This role will prepare and maintain records of program documentation in support of the AFCYBER portfolio, as requested. This includes the preparation of Monthly Acquisition Reports (MARs), Selected Acquisition Reports (SARs), Defense Acquisition Executive Summaries (DAES), as well as CCaRS Should Cost inputs for all assigned programs.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Review, coordinate, and staff all relevant acquisition program documentation, maintain Acquisition Decision Memorandums (ADMs), status and decision briefings, Portfolio Action Items, etc. using the records repository.
    • Provide local support for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), execution reviews, budget โ€œdrillsโ€ (Congressional markups, integrated budget reviews, sequestration impacts, etc.), conferences, briefings, and other meetings. Activities will include interfacing and coordinating with other Directorate personnel to synchronize calendars and supporting materials/documents for these meetings. Support actions may include the scheduling of conference rooms, reserving telecom lines, and other business logistic support required to facilitate the conduct and completion of the meetings.
    • Provide assistance with customer acquisition requirements development and developing supporting documentation for acquisition strategies. Support vendor engagements and demonstrations as related to directed lines of effort and organizational priorities to include cyber activities, information warfare, electronic warfare, and ISR.
    • Provide expertise in DoD 5000 series for acquisition process knowledge of technology, services, urgent capability acquisition as well as related Air Force Instructions (AFI). Provide expertise in producing cost estimates and business case analysis.
    • Assist with developing supporting documentation for the acquisition strategies. Assist in preparing memoranda necessary to document decision, debriefs, and project planning and guidance.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Program Management, Public Administration or similar field.
    • 8+ years of experience in acquisition management.
    • DAU Level I Acquisition Certification
    • Preferred: DAU Level II Acquisition Certification or Program Management Professional Certification or equivalent.
    • Preferred: Experience working in Scrum / Agile environment.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    This position does not supervise others.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Must be able to operate a computer and other standard office equipment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, 80%.

    TRAVEL:
    Minimal travel, 5 โ€“ 10%.

    COMPENSATION:
    BTAS adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. Salary is subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
