Job Summary: As a Checker, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and accurate checkout services to our customers. Your responsibilities will include scanning and bagging items, processing payments, and providing friendly customer service. Join us in creating positive experiences for our customers and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
Examples of Duties:
  • Greet customers with a smile and assist them with scanning and bagging items at the checkout counter.
  • Ensure accuracy in scanning items, paying attention to prices and product codes.
  • Process various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and electronic payments, using a POS system.
  • Provide assistance and information to customers regarding store policies, promotions, and products.
  • Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area, including cleaning conveyor belts, scanners, and bagging stations.
  • Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed.
