Job description

Join Our Team as a Commercial Plumbing Service Technician!

Breakthrough Service is on the hunt for skilled and dedicated Residential, Light Commercial, and Commercial Plumbing Service Technicians to join our growing team. If you're passionate about commercial plumbing, have a knack for solving problems, and excel at customer service, we want to hear from you! In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in a variety of commercial buildings.


What You'll Do:

  • Install, repair, and maintain diverse plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment within commercial properties.
  • Diagnose and expertly troubleshoot all types of plumbing issues, from leaks and clogs to complex system failures.
  • Conduct routine inspections and proactive preventive maintenance to keep plumbing systems running smoothly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to accurately map out pipe layouts, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Ensure every job complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing client concerns and questions promptly and professionally.
  • Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance your skills.


What You'll Bring:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or a plumbing apprenticeship is a plus..
  • A minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a commercial plumbing technician.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • The ability to work both independently and as a valuable part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license.
