    Job Title: Elect - Cloud Developer 3

    Location(s): Richmond, VA
    (Remote)
    Job Summary:
    The selected candidate will work alongside established contractors and internal staff to develop, enhance, and maintain multiple web and Windows-based applications used by agency personnel and Virginia residents. This role requires expertise in full-stack application development, cloud technologies, and service-oriented architecture (SOA). The developer will participate in the analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance of complex enterprise applications while providing technical leadership and working independently on high-impact initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain web and Windows applications.
    • Develop cloud-native applications and integrate with major cloud service providers.
    • Build and maintain applications using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
    • Perform application analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
    • Enhance and support existing enterprise applications.
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Architects, and development team members to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
    • Integrate applications with SaaS platforms and cloud-based services.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development team members.
    • Work independently on highly complex development efforts.

    Required Skills:

    • Extensive experience in full-stack application development.
    • Strong expertise in cloud application development and cloud services.
    • Experience developing applications using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
    • Experience integrating with major cloud service providers.
    • Experience designing, coding, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
    • Knowledge of web application and Windows application development.
    • Experience working with SaaS platforms and cloud-based integrations.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
    • Experience maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise software applications.

    Work Environment:

    • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Architects, developers, and cloud service providers.
    • Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and new development initiatives.
