Job description

SAIC is seeking a Senior SIGINT Network Engineer in Ft. Meade, MD.

Candidates must have the ability to work fully onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analyze and design ISR data flows, addressing latency, throughput, and synchronization issues; create technical documentation and resolve data workflow bottlenecks.
  • Analize network protocols and configurations (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS).
  • Configure network hardware and tools, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop integration strategies for ISR platforms, ensuring compliance with standards; implement scalable ISR pipelines using edge computing and AI/ML models.
  • Translate operational concepts into technical requirements; author and review architecture views, ICDs, SEPs, and TEMPs; conduct trade studies and present findings.
  • Oversee ISR and SIGINT tools implementation, advise on AI/ML deployments, ensure CSfC compliance, and manage cross-domain information sharing.
  • Serve as a technical liaison with Army and IC entities, represent the government in relevant groups and boards, align Army intelligence requirements with emerging capabilities, and brief senior stakeholders on key deliverables.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE

  • Bachelors in computer science, CIS, IT, or similar field and fourteen (14) years or more experience; additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree. 
  • Deep familiarity with JICD 4.2 implementation, JEL, TIDE, CSfC, cloud ISR orchestration, and metadata tagging. 
  • Working knowledge of virtualized and/or hybrid networking environments. 
  • Hands-on knowledge of Army ISR platforms, data standards, and DODAF framework. 
  • Working knowledge of networking configuration with Linux based systems. 
  • Direct support to programs within Army INSCOM, PEO IEW&S, and C5ISR Center. 
  • Exceptional technical writing, documentation, and briefing skills. 
  • DoDI 8570 certification, IAT II or higher. 
  • Required CONUS and OCONUS travel (up to 25%) for demonstrations, testing, and mission support.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI with current CI polygraph.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated success integrating Army ISR platforms with NSA, DIA, or joint IC data services.
  • Working knowledge of IC-ITE, IC PEDS, API-driven ISR federation, and data compliance under ICD 503. 
  • Knowledge of installation, configuration, and monitoring of Niagara Files (NiFi).
  • Experience with GATEKEEPER. Understanding of Authorities/Compliance Requirements. 
  • Familiarity of Midpoint Functional Architecture. Experience with Cameo/MagicDraw, JIRA, and MBSE modeling tools. 
  • Knowledge of CDS Transfer Methods. Principal Understanding of Dataflow Management Request (DMR). 
  • Working Experience with Army Collection Capabilities and their Output Data Formats. 
  • Basic Understanding of Expression, BME Query, & ASDF Query Languages. Familiar with Data Format Schema/Service Files.
