Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Carpenter to join our production team. In this role, you will construct, assemble, and install structural and finished components for modular building systems in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and material requirements.
- Construct and assemble wood and metal framing for modular components.
- Install doors, cabinetry, frames, subfloor, flooring, drywall, paneling, ceiling grid/tile, wall accessories, hardware, or wall protection.
- Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
- Remove damaged or defective parts/sections of structures and repair or replace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Inspect finished projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Travel to active construction sites as required to support installation, repair, warranty, and project completion activities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of carpentry or construction experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and use measurement tools accurately.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50 -75 lbs and perform physical work for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in manufacturing facilities, outdoor construction sites, and non-conditioned environments.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to and willingness to travel for extended periods to active project sites as required.
