Work Environment

This position allows for a flexible work setting with the majority of responsibilities performed remotely. As a remote clinician, you will engage with clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring that they receive the support they need regardless of their location. Our organization leverages advanced digital tools to enhance client engagement and maintain effective communication within our multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will conduct thorough risk assessments and client intakes, performing evaluations to accurately diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual, couples, and family therapy through evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Assist clients in navigating their recovery journey by coordinating access to essential resources, including housing, employment assistance, and community services.
  • Engage in crisis intervention strategies to offer immediate support to clients facing emotional or psychological emergencies, ensuring stabilization and ongoing safety.
  • Maintain comprehensive client documentation, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and regulatory compliance, including timely updates on treatment progress.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development activities, such as attending workshops and training programs to remain current with best practices and therapeutic advancements.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with individuals who are experiencing substance use challenges and mental health issues. Our diverse client base includes adolescents, adults, and families from varied backgrounds, each bringing unique stories and experiences, allowing you to apply your expertise in a meaningful way. You will be instrumental in promoting their recovery and facilitating their progress through various therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted LCSW license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient, healthcare, or similar settings is mandatory.
  • Proficient understanding of mental health and substance use disorders, with a commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, and family therapy is highly valued.
  • Prior work with specialized populations, such as LGBTQ+ clientele or those with co-occurring disorders, is beneficial.
  • A strong background in crisis intervention and case management will set candidates apart.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
