Material Handler - Lead Trainer / Team Lead Opportunity:
Bledsoe is seeking a motivated and experienced Material Handler Lead Trainer / Team Lead to play a key role in developing and supporting our contractor workforce on the Micron campus. This position combines hands-on leadership with training and mentoring responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy coaching others while remaining actively involved in daily operations.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
· Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
· Ensure all incoming deliveries matches the appropriate purchase order
· Store cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets.
· Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of the inventory.
· Record the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets.
Lead Trainer/Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding and training of new contractors, ensuring they are set up for success from day one.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to help team members develop their skills and meet operational expectations.
- Monitor day-to-day activities and work alongside the team during the day shift, allowing for real-time support, guidance, and problem-solving.
- Promote a strong safety culture by partnering closely with Bledsoe's Safety Team to ensure compliance and best practices across all shifts.
- Assist in identifying and addressing performance concerns while recognizing opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key point of communication between contractors, operations, and support teams.

Qualifications:
Leadership & Training Skills
- Team Leadership: Ability to coordinate, assign tasks, and monitor workflow for a team of material handlers
- Mentoring & Coaching: Experience training new hires and ongoing staff on procedures, safety, and equipment use
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot workflow issues and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Multi-tasking: Comfort working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
Soft Skills & Attributes
- Organizational Skills: Managing schedules, training records, and compliance documentation
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active warehouse work
- Positive Attitude & Reliability: Willingness to work off shifts, travel, and adapt to changing demands
- Lead Materials Handler / Team Lead: 3–5+ years warehouse experience, leadership coordination, inventory accuracy, safety enforcement, and equipment proficiency

Core Technical & Operational Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or GED is standard; some roles prefer a college degree or relevant coursework in logistics, supply chain, or operations
Experience:
· Minimum 2–6+ years in warehouse, distribution, or material handling operations
· Direct supervisory or trainer experience preferred;
· Forklift certification (often OSHA-compliant) and hands-on experience with pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment
· Understanding of receiving, storing, shipping, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
· Strong knowledge of OSHA and company safety standards, with a history of enforcing them
