Operations Manager | Brooklyn, NY · $125K
About the Role A fast-growing product business is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to keep things running smoothly across vendors, warehousing, and logistics. This is a role for a natural problem-solver — someone who spots issues before they escalate and takes ownership without waiting to be asked. If you thrive on putting out fires and keeping the operation moving, this one's for you.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Client Management
- Manage relationships with client vendors and act as the key point of contact
- Renegotiate terms and agreements with vendors to keep the business competitive
Warehousing & Logistics
- Oversee warehousing, shipping, and logistics operations
- Step in hands-on with day-to-day challenges, including handling pallets and shipments when needed
Operations & Problem-Solving
- Troubleshoot issues across the business and resolve them proactively
- Handle employee relations and keep the team running smoothly
- Take initiative on any problem that arises and follow through to completion
Qualifications
- Strong people, organization, and communication skills
- A self-starter who takes responsibility and solves problems independently
- Energetic, driven, and hands-on with a get-it-done attitude
