Overnight Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will drive the company's objectives of improving Product Availability and Inventory Management. This role will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as ordering, receiving and storing goods, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods to internal and external locations, scheduling and supervising teammates, and securing the warehouse. The individual will also be responsible for the smooth execution of inventory control procedures and practices.

  • Coordinate warehouse layouts to maximize inventory space, facility, and process flow.
  • Hire, train and manage teammates to ensure desired performance is achieved and all operating standards are adhered to.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations and Company policy.
  • Develop and monitor warehouse operations through ERP and payroll/timekeeping systems.
  • Responsible for all inventory reporting and data quality pertaining to raw materials and finished goods within the ERP system.
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly shipping and receiving, and inventory activity and conduct monthly reconciliation.
  • Work closely with Sales and Finance teams on Demand Planning and Forecast Improvement and facilitate standing operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance reports and checklists are completed accurately for operational matters and all required corrective action is taken promptly.
  • Other Ad Hoc Duties as required to ensure the business runs smoothly
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in supply chain with diverse product and sourcing portfolios; consumer packaged goods experience preferred; food experience a plus.
  • APICS certification is considered an asset (CSCP, CPIM)
  • Strong experience with inventory management/ERP systems; Just Foods preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills as well as organizational and planning skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
  • Strong sense of urgency and results oriented.
  • The location operates 7 days a week. The successful candidate must have flexible availability to work various shifts and weekends.
