Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

โ€ข Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral

assessment measures (e.g., ABLLS, VB-MAPP, Vineland II-R) and functional assessment

measures.

โ€ข Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based

programs and designs behavior intervention plans based on functional assessment data

โ€ข Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable

behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of

behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.

โ€ข Teaches Consultants and Behavior Therapists on the proper implementation of educational

and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems, and all necessary

monitoring and reporting systems.

โ€ข Conducts regular caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation.

โ€ข Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly/biweekly

supervision meetings with Consultants and Behavior Therapists.

โ€ข Meets regularly with the president or clinical director and notifies her/him immediately of

issues impacting clientโ€™s progress and satisfaction.

โ€ข Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by

the president or clinical director.

โ€ข Oversees and directs the scheduling of BCBAs, Consultants, and Behavioral Therapists as needed.

โ€ข Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to BASS policies and

state and federal regulation.

โ€ข Develops written reports documenting behavior recommendations for parents, caregivers,

and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner.

โ€ข Participate in interviewing and hiring new candidates.

โ€ข Provide input on case assignments/staffing.


ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

โ€ข Actively communicates BASSโ€™s outreach efforts to community.

โ€ข Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner.

โ€ข Participates in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial to BASSโ€™s

development and improvement.

โ€ข Adheres to the mission, vision and values of BASS.


REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

โ€ข Masterโ€™s in behavior analysis, Psychology, special education, social work, speech language

pathology, or related field required, Ph.D. preferred.

โ€ข BCBA certification and/or licensed professional.

โ€ข At least three yearsโ€™ experience serving individuals with ASDs with a full range of skills and

abilities.

โ€ข At least three yearsโ€™ experience working within the developmental disability field.

โ€ข Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic interventions and concepts;

experience delivering these services.

โ€ข Experience with staff training and supervision.

โ€ข Must be proficient with ABA Program/Goal Development, Behavior Reduction Protocols,

Skills Acquisition Procedures (DTT, NET), and Staff Training.

โ€ข Must have excellent writing and communication skills.

โ€ข Must be highly organized with the ability to multitask.

โ€ข Must be able to work well as part of a team.
