    PRN Chaplain - Floater
    Beacon Health System Coverage Locations: Kalamazoo
    • Three Rivers

    On-Call: Overnight Responsibility
    Beacon Health System is seeking a PRN Floater Chaplain to provide compassionate, patient-centered spiritual care across multiple Beacon locations. This role supports patients, families, and staff through presence, crisis response, and spiritual assessment in a variety of clinical settings.
    About the Role
    The Floater Chaplain provides coverage at multiple Beacon locations, including inpatient, outpatient, and specialty care environments. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical spiritual care skills, and the ability to respond to spiritual and emotional needs across diverse populations.
    Key responsibilities include:
    • Providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff
    • Responding to crisis situations, end-of-life care, and ethical consultations
    • Participating in interdisciplinary care teams
    • Documenting spiritual care interventions in accordance with Beacon standards
    • Providing overnight on-call coverage as assigned
    • Traveling between Beacon locations as needed to support staffing coverage
    Required Education & Credentials
    • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Theology, Spirituality, Social Work, Divinity, Philosophy, Pastoral Studies, Human Behavior, or a related field required.
    • Completion of 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through an accredited program.
    • Driver's License
