BBA is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to joinour growing U.S. team. In this role, you will work alongside experiencedengineers and multidisciplinary teams on projects in the mining, industrial,energy, renewable power, and chemical sectors.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for an career engineer to build technical expertise in both civil infrastructureand structural design, while contributing to projects from concept developmentthrough detailed engineering and construction support.

• Support the civil and structural designof industrial and infrastructure projects from preliminary studies throughdetailed engineering
• Prepare engineering calculations,technical reports, design memoranda, and construction documentation
• Assist with the design of civilinfrastructure systems including site development, drainage, utilitylayouts, and access infrastructure
• Support the structural design of:
  - Concrete foundations
  - Steel and reinforced concrete structures
  - Equipment support structures
  - Pipe racks, platforms, and industrialstructural systems
  - Building structural components
  
• Assist in structural analysis andpreparation of design calculations in accordance with applicable U.S.codes and standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding mechanical, electrical, process, geotechnical, and environmentaldisciplines
• Prepare quantity take-offs, technicalspecifications, material requisitions, and construction packages
• Review and coordinate engineeringdeliverables prepared by designers and drafters
• Participate in project planning,scheduling, cost estimating, and technical coordination
• Support construction activities throughsite visits, field reviews, and responding to technical queries
• Participate in client meetings andcontribute to technical discussions
• Contribute to engineering quality,continuous improvement, and best practices

Summary of certifications and job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeringwith a structural focus, or Structural Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation or eligibility forregistration in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction
• 6+ years of relevant experience in civil and/or structural engineering
• Experience in industrial, mining,infrastructure, energy, or related sectors is considered an asset
• Familiarity with structural design codesand engineering standards applicable in North America
• Experience with engineering software suchas:
  - AutoCAD / Revit
  - Structural analysis software (SAP2000,ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, or similar)
  - Mathcad or equivalent engineeringcalculation tools
• Ability to read and interpret engineeringdrawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite
• Availability for occasional travel toproject sites
