About the Role
Balance Staffing is looking for a driven Recruiter to own the full recruitment lifecycle — from sourcing to placement. You'll build strong candidate pipelines, manage client relationships, and play a direct role in connecting great talent with great opportunities. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love the challenge of finding the right fit, this is for you.
What You'll Do
- Manage the full recruiting cycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates
- Build and maintain a strong, ready-to-work candidate pipeline through calls, Boolean/keyword searches (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder), job fairs, and community partnerships
- Conduct daily phone screens and in-person interviews to assess skills and culture fit
- Partner with Account Managers and clients to coordinate interviews, relay offers, and close placements
- Keep candidate records accurate and up to date in the ATS
- Maintain relationships with placed associates through check-ins, coaching, and stay/exit interviews
- Support redeployment of top-performing associates as assignments end
- Identify and troubleshoot payroll/timecard issues in partnership with the Payroll team
- Collaborate with fellow recruiters, account managers, and support staff to hit shared goals
What You'll Need
- 3-4 years of recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in staffing
- Strong communication skills — clear, persuasive, and comfortable giving/receiving candid feedback
- Proficiency in MS Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive, "find a way" approach to problem-solving
- Strong relationship-building skills with candidates, clients, and coworkers alike
