PositionOverview:

AsaManagerinWealthTax-Trusts&Estates,youwillplayacriticalroleindeliveringfiduciarytaxcomplianceandplanningservicestohigh-net-worthindividuals,families,familyoffices,andfiduciaries.Thisroleofferstheopportunitytodeepentechnicalexpertiseintrustandestatetaxationwhilemanagingengagementsanddevelopingclientrelationships.

Responsibilities:

• Manageandreviewfiduciary,estate,andgifttaxreturns,includingForms1041,706,709,andrelatedstatefilings.
• Providetaxplanningandadvisoryservicesrelatedtoestate,gift,andgeneration-skippingtransfer(GST)taxmatters.
• Assistclientswithwealthtransferstrategies,charitableplanning,andtruststructuringtoachievelong-termfamilyobjectives.
• Researchandinterpretcomplexfederalandstatetaxlawsaffectingtrusts,estates,andfiduciaryincometaxation.
• Supervise,mentor,andreviewtheworkoftaxstaffandseniorassociates;providetrainingandperformancefeedback.
• Collaboratewithattorneys,financialadvisors,trustees,andestateplannerstosupportcomprehensiveestateplanningandadministration.
• Assistwithfiduciaryaccounting,estateadministrationmatters,andauditorinquiryresponsesrelatedtotrustandestatetaxissues.
• Staycurrentonlegislativeandregulatorychangesimpactingtrustsandestatesandcommunicateimplicationstoclientsandinternalteams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orrelatedfield;CPArequired.JDorLL.M.inTaxationpreferred.
• Minimumoffive(5)yearsofexperienceintrustandestatetaxation,preferablyinapublicaccountingorlawfirmenvironment.
• Strongworkingknowledgeoffiduciaryincometax,estatetax,gifttax,andrelatedcompliancerequirements.
• Experiencewithfiduciaryaccountingandestateadministrationpreferred.
• Stronganalytical,research,andproblem-solvingskills.
• Demonstratedabilitytosuperviseanddevelopstaff.
• Proficiencyintaxsoftware(CCHAxcess,GoSystem,orsimilar)andMicrosoftOfficeSuite.
