Your role: 

  • Answering calls and assisting with in-person client inquiries.
  • Responding to general emails and forwarding inquiries appropriately.
  • Scheduling client meeting and managing various calendars.
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of Principals, such as CRA correspondence and letters of engagement for clients. 
  • Provide quality control, such as reviewing, proofreading and formatting documentation on behalf of the firm.
  • Manage client records electronically using ShareFile/DocuSign.
  • Process client payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate payment records.
  • Assembly of various tax return packages, and electronic filing of corporate tax returns
  • E-file projects such Corporate Tax Returns and Business Authorization Consent Forms with CRA. 
  • Manage firm administrative processes such as tracking of work queues and records management.
  • Support accounting staff with miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed
  • Distributing the office mail and arranging daily couriers.


What you bring to the table:

  • 1 - 2 years reception or administrative experience.
  • Prior work experience in customer-facing role.
  • Minimum education: High school or equivalency; Administrative or office management training a plus.
  • The ability to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Great organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Experience or the desire to work in a team-based environment. Comfortable working with various personalities. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Job type: 

Full -time


Your schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch. In March and April, hours switch to 8:00am - 5:00pm. In July and August, hours switch to 8:30am - 4:30pm.


Overtime is required during peak times.


Salary:

$50,000/year
