Bakehouse

Bakers are responsible for executing the daily production plan with consistency, efficiency, and attention to quality. Bakers are expected to contribute to a clean, organized, safe, and positive kitchen environment while communicating effectively with managers and co-workers.

• Complete daily production tasks accurately, efficiently, and according to established recipes, company standards, and direction from kitchen leadership
• Scale, mix, portion, bake, and finish a variety of baked goods
• Maintain consistent product quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Manage assigned work within expected timeframes and communicate proactively when challenges arise or additional support is needed
• Uphold a clean, organized, sanitary, and functional workspace throughout the shift
• Contribute to kitchen operations including prep, stocking, and cleaning once assigned tasks are complete
• Participate in the execution of daily, weekly and monthly tasks 
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and workplace safety procedures
• Support baking team by communicating clearly, assisting coworkers, and contributing to a productive and collaborative work environment

• Professional baking experience preferred, or demonstrated interest in baking with a desire to develop in a production bakery environment
• Working knowledge of basic baking techniques, including scaling, mixing, portioning, and following recipes accurately
• Attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality.
• Flexibility to fulfill multiple shifts including opening bake, delivery & holiday production.
• Valid driver’s license & comfortable driving a small delivery van
• Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to stand long periods of time and lift & carry 50 lbs. 
• Dependable, flexible and team-oriented.
