Avmax offers the following capabilities: Aircraft Leasing, Airline Operations, Avionics, Component Repairs, Engineering, MRO, Paint and Spares. Avmax's engineering division is a Transport Canada authorized Design Approval Organization (DAO). Avmax's maintenance division is a Transport Canada authorized Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO).

Reporting: The Materials Lead reports directly to the Materials Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between Stores and all other
- Ensure the Stores Clerks issue and document parts to the floor, ensuring requisitions are accurate, and data entry is complete and from appropriate
- Work with purchasing in ordering out of stock parts, maintaining files and checking shelf life of inventory.
- Assist in the control and maintenance of an accurate inventory by following Avmax procedures and
- Ensure that inventory items are being procured in a timely
- Communicate effectively with Production.
- Work and Planning and personnel to ensure that material requirements are
- Maintain material schedules for projects assigned and report delivery
- Ensure compliance with the Avmax Montana Inc.
- Participate in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to motivate employees.
- Demonstrated capability in supervising others; demonstrated ability to lead and mentor people.
- Assists in building and maintaining a work environment that promotes growth, increases morale and reduces the risk of dis-engaged employees.

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' industry experience.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset.
