Job description

About Avive:

Avive Solutions, Inc. (https://avive.life) is a VC-backed healthcare technology company that is developing a next-generation Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and response system in an effort to – literally – save lives. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is a leading cause of death in the United States, and we are on a mission to change that! We are a dynamic team that builds elegant, creative solutions to solve complex problems. Ultimately, our mission is for all cardiac arrest victims to have rapid access to life-saving defibrillation.

Avive is taking a fresh approach to addressing this decades-old problem by working to bring an advanced AED technology to market, coupled with a first-of-its-kind software platform solution to enable a quicker and more streamlined response to cardiac arrest emergencies. We believe that this unique combination of deploying advanced – yet still accessible – hardware, and novel software, has the potential to revolutionize out-of-hospital cardiac arrest response and massively impact SCA survival rates.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Recruiter – mainly focused on Commercial & Go-To-Market who can operate as both a strategic talent partner and a hands-on recruiting expert. This person will help build and scale Avive’s commercial organization — hiring the talent responsible for bringing our life-saving technology to communities nationwide.

Put simply: you will be responsible for attracting, engaging, and hiring the sales, partnerships, go-to-market, and all other non-technical talent that powers our growth.

This role will partner closely with leadership to define hiring strategy, forecast workforce needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and execute on priority searches. This is a high-impact role that will directly influence Avive’s ability to expand our footprint.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Talent Partnership

  • Partner with Sales, Channel Partnerships, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and Operations leaders to understand business goals, workforce planning needs, and organizational growth plans.
  • Help define and execute Avive’s hiring strategy for commercial and go-to-market roles.
  • Provide market insights and talent intelligence to support hiring decisions, including compensation expectations, candidate supply, and competitive landscape.

Full-Cycle Recruiting Excellence

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for a range of commercial roles including regional sales, channel partnerships, national accounts, customer success, marketing, finance, and business operations.
  • Drive sourcing strategies for high-impact revenue roles, identifying talent with experience selling into complex or mission-driven markets such as public safety, government, and enterprise.
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience aligned with Avive’s values: transparent, respectful, mission-driven, and fast-moving.
  • Manage offer negotiation and closing processes in partnership with leadership and People Operations.

Pipeline Development & Employer Brand

  • Build proactive pipelines for key go-to-market roles through sourcing, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
  • Help strengthen Avive’s employer brand within the public safety, healthcare, and technology ecosystems.
  • Represent Avive at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities when appropriate.

Process Ownership & Data-Driven Improvement

  • Support the development and improvement of recruiting processes, interview frameworks, and hiring workflows for commercial roles.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics such as pipeline health, candidate quality, and time-to-fill.
  • Partner with People leadership to continuously improve recruiting efficiency and hiring consistency.

Who You Are:
  • 6–8+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus on commercial hiring for public safety or govtech focused companies.
  • Demonstrated success hiring for roles such as account executives, channel partnerships, national accounts, business development, customer success, or marketing.
  • Experience supporting organizations in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong ability to partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to shape hiring strategy and make informed talent decisions.
  • Comfortable operating in a startup or growth-stage environment where priorities evolve and recruiting needs shift quickly.
  • Highly organized and data-driven, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining strong candidate experience.
  • Genuine connection to Avive’s mission and desire to support work that saves lives.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience recruiting for organizations that sell into public safety, government, or other SLED markets.
  • Prior experience recruiting for companies that sell hardware, and/or technology solutions into complex buying environments.
  • Experience working in or supporting recruiting for mission driven technology companies a plus.
  • Experience helping scale commercial teams during periods of rapid company growth.
