Avid Quality Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Transporter to join our team! As a company providing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we are committed to improving the lives of our individuals through quality care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport patients to and from appointments, activities, and within the day habilitation center.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene needs, restroom assistance, and mobility as required.
- Monitor and report any health concerns to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professionals.
- Follow specialized diets, assist with meal preparation, and ensure meal supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Ensure the overall care, health, and safety of individuals under your supervision.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Experience safely transporting passengers, including those with mobility limitations.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Ability to assist passengers in and out of vehicles safely, including use of mobility aids.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and professional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, document trips accurately
- Ability to pass background checks/drug screening
