This role requires a safety-driven mindset, strong reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steers, compactors, and related machinery.

  • Safely move, push, load, and spread waste and recyclable materials.

  • Perform daily equipment inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Follow all company, OSHA, and site-specific safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas (tipping floor, landfill, transfer station, etc.).

  • Assist with general labor tasks when needed, including site cleanup and material handling.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to maintain efficient operations.

  • Participate in recurring safety meetings and required training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of equipment safety procedures and safe operation around personnel and vehicles.

  • Strong work ethic with consistent reliability and punctuality.

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.

Work Environment
  • Outdoor, high-activity environment with exposure to noise, dust, odors, heavy machinery, and varying weather conditions.

  • Requires strong situational awareness, teamwork, and adherence to strict safety standards.

Schedule & Pay
  • Schedule varies by location and operational needs (example: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM).

  • Weekly pay; specific rate determined by site and experience level.
