Position Overview

Atmore Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at our Centreville, Virginia location. In this role, you will be integral in evaluating, planning, and administering personalized treatment programs to patients facing various functional limitations and disabilities. You will utilize your expertise to enhance patient mobility, alleviating pain and promoting recovery, all while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Centreville Rehabilitation Center, you will work onsite in a modern facility designed to provide optimal care. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technologies and equipment that facilitate effective patient treatment. You will work in a supportive setting, alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient care. Weekly scheduled hours include 40 hours with potential variable weekend shifts, tailored to meet our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying functional limitations and disabilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Provide ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patients’ care comprehensively.
  • Engage with patients, their families, and caregivers to educate and empower them in the recovery process.
  • Document treatment activities accurately and submit charges for services rendered, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
  • Contribute to community outreach initiatives, quality improvement projects, and marketing efforts to promote the center’s services.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance and training to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Participate in continuous education opportunities to improve clinical skills and maintain licensure.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and age-related conditions, as well as individuals with chronic pain or neurological disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, adapting your communication and treatment approaches to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring culturally sensitive and respectful care.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and reporting.
Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and advanced therapy modalities will be an added advantage. Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and engaging in community health initiatives will enrich your contributions to our organization.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
