  • Conduct independent functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing.
  • Review automated and manual test results produced by development and O&M teams.
  • Validate defect corrections and confirm that releases meet approved acceptance criteria.
  • Identify testing gaps, untested dependencies, and incomplete coverage.
  • Document test results, defects, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Confirm that teams maintain current test scripts, test data, and execution procedures.
  • Review changes to automated test scripts when applications or business processes change.
  • Support peer reviews of requirements, designs, user stories, and test plans.
  • Evaluate release packages and provide independent readiness findings.
  • Monitor defect status, aging, severity, recurrence, and closure.
  • Support testing continuity when other testing resources are unavailable.
  • Recommend improvements to test automation, coverage, tools, and procedures.
  • Present independent findings to NIH leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with Government personnel and contractors while maintaining objective results.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience testing enterprise business applications.
  • Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing.
  • Experience reviewing requirements, acceptance criteria, and requirements traceability.
  • Experience documenting defects and communicating test results.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into test conditions.
  • Ability to work independently while participating in an integrated testing team.

Preferred Qualifications
