Job description

A Day in the Life of the Manager, Regional Business Solutions:

The Regional Manager Business Solutions contributes to Astound's success by leading and cultivating a strong sales team to deliver new incremental customer relationships. This role is a critical component of the overall growth plan to deliver on revenue and net gains. The leader will be responsible for sourcing, training and deploying solutions sales strategies for the full component of Astound Business voice, data and video services.

  • Demonstrateknowledge on the latest pricing, productchangesand service processes to provide thebest incustomer experience andstaysabreast of local competition.

  • Be a subject matter expert as it relates to all systems and tools that the sales channel uses day to day,including but not limited to our billing system, reportingstructuresandCRM tools.

  • Provideregular updates to Enterprise Account Executives via weekly team meetings to ensure that team members are well informed and able to set the proper expectations when selling andacquiringnew customers.

  • Focuson daily activities to understand how team members are performing to bi-weekly targets. Reviews overall team performance to track achievement to monthly new customer budgeted sales progress.

  • Conduct one on one coaching, whichincludesfield ridealongs, documentingproductivity andensuringconsistent performance management.

  • Collaboratewith counterparts across the Region in the development/creationofnew salesincentives and recognition opportunities.

  • Lead day-to-dayactivities ofa team ofDirect Sales Representatives, focusingon ourSingle Familyprospecting door to door as well asMulti-Dwelling Unit relationships to engage, market, and cultivate rewarding partnerships to deliver sales targets.

  • Responsible formaintainingbudgeted headcount, partners withrecruiting tosource candidates and conduct interviewsetc.

  • Ensure teammaintainsa neat appearance,presents themselves professionallyto internal/external customers.

  • Understand and followall company safety standards and practices.To includeaccident reporting procedures.

  • Understands and follows applicable OSHA and National Electric Safety Code rules and regulations.

  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

  • Education:College degree or high school diploma; equivalent combination of education andsalesexperience.
  • Minimum5+years' experiencein leadership/supervisory in a commercial, enterprise, sales, and/or business environment

  • Knowledge of the cable industry, regional communities,customersand staff.

  • Proven record of delivering above expected performance from sales teams.

  • Highly productive andprioritizesmultiple tasks to maximize customer acquisition and retention.

  • Effectively works and communicates with other workgroups.

  • Facilitates a harmonious team environment.

  • Recognizes the importance of quality in providing a competitive edge.

  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record asdeterminedby the Company.

  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Highly productive andprioritizesmultiple tasks.

  • Highly proficient using MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn and understand the cable industry, regional communities, and customers.

The base salary range for this position in Texas is $110,000 - $125,000, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, geographical area, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to Texas and may not be applicable to other locations.
