Job description

Job Summary:
Associates Systems LLC is seeking a Systems Security Engineer with a DOD Secret clearance to support various security engineering projects. The role involves defining security requirements, ensuring compliance with NIST standards, and assisting in the development of proposals and security controls.
Responsibilities:
• Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Support compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
• Support the development of bids and proposals
• Support security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component
• Integrate cybersecurity development activities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Interim or active DOD secret clearance a must.
• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, anti-tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded security.
• Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness.
