Job description

Supervise and engage children in a safe, positive environment. Assist with homework and recreational activities. Coordinate afternoon snacks and sign in & out procedures. Always be a positive role model for students.

Implement the goals of our after school care program provided Preferred School Care. . Depending on the position and curriculum implemented, specific goals and instructions will be provided to you by your site director.

Plan and implement recreational, educational and cultural activities

Meet with ASP team as needed for planning and preparation of activities.

Maintain site to meet and or exceed Child Care Licensing and Quality Rated standards where possible.

Establish and maintain positive lines of communication with parents and/or guardians of assigned participants, including monthly newsletter articles and phone calls to parents when appropriate.
