Job description

Shape the future of railways as a Lead OCS Engineer at Arup, focusing on comprehensive designs for electrification systems in the US and Canada. Your insights will enhance safety and performance in transit.
In this leadership position, you will steer the design and execution of overhead catenary systems for critical railway projects. Collaborating with talented engineers, your role encompasses developing design criteria and delivering technical solutions that cater to large-scale infrastructure demands. Join a team committed to advancing the rail landscape sustainably.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and define design needs for overhead catenary systems
• Produce comprehensive drawings and specifications for projects
• Conduct site visits to analyze existing rail infrastructure
• Facilitate collaboration between multidisciplinary teams
• Aid in competitive bid preparation and submissions
Requirements:
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
• 7 or more years of experience in OCS engineering roles
• Proficiency using CAD and design software platforms
