Job description

Argus Medical Management is a physician practice management company that has served physician communities in the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas for 30+ years. Argus Medical provides comprehensive billing and managements services which include contracting, credentialing, HR services, accounting, etc. to support Physicians in private practice.

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift

Pay: $21-23 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated, bilingual Medical Assistant who is passionate about patient care and eager to be an integral part of our team. The Medical Assistant Combo will support daily clinic operations by providing both administrative and clinical assistance. This role ensures a smooth patient experience by managing front office responsibilities while also assisting providers with back-office clinical duties in a fast-paced pain management clinic.

Front Office Responsibilities may include:

Answering and managing phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, obtaining authorizations, collecting patient payments, confirming and updating patient demographics, maintaining a clean and organized waiting area, and serving as a friendly, welcoming first point of contact for our patients.

Back Office Responsibilities may include:

Rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing medical histories, assisting with injections and blood draws, preparing exam rooms, and supporting providers during minor procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 2 years' experience in front and back office, required
  • Bilingual, required
  • Pain Management experience, preferred
  • MA Certified
  • CPR Certified
