Job description
A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machinist to work first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Duties:
- Set up, position, load materials, and operate jobs in appropriate CNC Mills and Lathes Machines
- Manually run lathes, drill presses, milling machines and saws
- Monitor machines while working to adjust the feed, maintain them and identify issues
- Load and unload materials of various geometries up to 40 pounds
- Understand G&M codes, use FANUC Controls, and make minor program edits
- Review samples, drawings or instruction to understand specifications with GDT
- Use micrometers and calipers to check parts to the print, take measurements, and mark material for cutting or shaping
- Understand and complete documents in an ISO setting
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Assist in any area of the plant as instructed by management if needed
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have CNC and Manual Machine setup and operation experience and understand G&M Codes
- Must have the ability to use FANUC Controls, make minor program edits, and review samples, drawings, or instruction to understand specifications
- The ability to use micrometers and calipers to check parts is needed and accurately read a tape measure
- Must be able to understand and complete documents in an ISO setting
Only candidates that can pass a drug screen and background check will be considered. Applicants must take a blueprint and machining test. Any programming experience is a plus.
