    Systems Administrator
    Location: Greer (Dayton), Ohio (Hybrid)
    Employment Type: Contract (W2)
    Role Overview
    We are seeking a seasoned Systems Administrator for a 6-12 month contract. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day operational tasks, including managing server environments and addressing security vulnerabilities. This role is crucial for maintaining the stability and integrity of our IT infrastructure through hands-on administration and problem-solving.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Administer servers within a multi-OS, hybrid IT environment.
    • Analyze and remediate IT security issues based on weekly vulnerability reports.
    • Perform root-cause analysis and remediation for system issues.
    • Manage day-to-day operational tasks to ensure system confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement system and process improvements.
    • Assist with data migration projects, such as moving file shares to SharePoint.
    Required Qualifications
    Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Systems Administration is required. Candidates should be seasoned professionals with a strong understanding of servers and Active Directory (AD).
    Technical Skills: A strong background in Windows administration is required, with an emphasis on Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), and security. Experience with CIFS is also necessary.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Proficiency in scripting.
    • Experience with Linux administration.
    • Knowledge of physical and virtual infrastructure, including VMware.
    • Certifications in IT Security or Windows Active Directory.
