Job description

Love being on the move and working around vehicles? Join a team where you'll play a critical role in keeping vehicle flow organized, efficient, and on schedule. Apex is currently recruiting for a Yard Porter for one of their premier clients in Wentzville, MO.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate and move customer vehicles throughout the facility and yard
  • Assist with receiving, labeling, and staging vehicles according to customer and company requirements
  • Inspect incoming vehicles and report any damage to the Yard Lead
  • Help identify and properly stage mis-shipped vehicles
  • Ensure vehicles are staged in the proper sequence and production flow order
  • Communicate concerns regarding vehicle processing, staging, or yard operations
  • Assist with maintaining accurate vehicle inventory and yard organization
  • Help keep the yard clean, safe, and operating efficiently
  • Follow all company safety procedures and yard operation guidelines
  • Support additional yard and production activities as assigned

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to safely operate customer vehicles
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, production, logistics, or automotive environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience working around vehicle inventory or yard operations
