    Job description

    Duties:
    • Research, design, develop, or test automation, intelligent systems, smart devices, or industrial systems control. Mostly to be used in advanced nondestructive testing solutions.
    • Create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, or finished products.
    • Design advanced precision ultrasonic equipment for accurate or controlled applications. Such design to be used for accurate capture of inspection data.
    • Design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks.
    • Implement or test design solutions used in the wind and oil and gas industry.
    • Maintain technical project files.
    • Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as robotics, drones, automated and semi-automated scanners, design and machine parts and gimbals.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
    • Please note, travel to client sites will be required 50% of the time within Harris county.

    Education:
    • Bachelor of Science degree in mechatronics engineering or foreign equivalent

    Experience:
    • 2 years of relevant experience
