Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing individual therapy with personalized techniques and strategies that foster growth and well-being.
  • Facilitating counseling sessions for couples and families, addressing relationship dynamics and enhancing communication skills.
  • Regularly setting and reviewing therapeutic goals with clients to track their progress and make any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Offering teletherapy services to clients, ensuring accessibility for those who may have mobility issues or prefer a virtual format.
  • Maintaining precise and detailed documentation for all sessions in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay informed about the latest trends in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including both adults and children/adolescents. You will address a range of mental health issues, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, and more. Your ability to provide empathetic and understanding support will be crucial in helping clients navigate their path toward better mental health.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:

  • A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • A compassionate, nonjudgmental demeanor, and a strong sense of empathy towards clients’ various experiences.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills to manage client caseloads and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Preferred Experience

While the primary qualifications are essential, preferred experience includes:

  • Prior experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and an ability to apply them effectively in sessions.
  • Experience with teletherapy practices and tools, demonstrating aptitude in providing virtual care.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
