Job description

Department: Maintenance 

Position: Electrician (Team Member)

Reports to : Maintenance Manager 

Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work independently on assigned projects and provide guidance, instructions, and supervision to apprentice workers when assigned to ensure safety, code compliance, and quality of work.
  • Perform electrical calculations, including conduit fill and wire ampacity.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
  • Meet with customers and prepare material lists and labor estimates.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, including:
    • Generators
    • UPS systems
    • Switchboards
    • Control centers and panels
    • Relays
    • Circuit breakers
    • Equipment wiring
    • Control systems
    • Data, phone, and TV cabling
    • Building Management Systems (BMS)
    • Fire alarm systems
    • Power distribution systems
  • Perform fire alarm installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Knowledge of electrical calculations, conduit fill, and wire ampacity.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Conditions
  • Must be available to work weekends, night shifts, swing shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
  • Must be able to work at heights exceeding 25 feet using ladders, lifts, raised platforms, crane cages, and similar equipment.
  • Must be able to work in various weather and environmental conditions, including rain, heat, and outdoor environments.
  • Must be able to lift and pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to use standard electrical tools.


*  Hourly Pay will be determined based on the candidate's overall experience and qualifications.
