Job description

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensures all safety procedures are followed and actively works to improve our safety program.
  • Ensures all quality procedures are followed and actively works to improve our quality program.
  • Oversees the assembly line from raw materials to finished belt.
  • Trains, coaches, and supports the assemblers to ensure their line is properly equipped to complete daily orders.
  • Evaluates the efficiency of employees and makes suggestions for permanent hire.
  • Meets daily production expectations as per production board and documents barriers when applicable.
  • Encourages Continuous improvement culture.
  • Performs any other tasks required to ensure the Company goals are met as directed by management 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Continuing education via various training seminars and/or college credits.
  • Must be a solid communicator.
  • Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
  • Experience in a supervisory role and/or proven leadership competency.
  • Experience or proven ability to manage multiple employees. 
  • Must be able to work in the US
  • Detail oriented
  • Communicates effectively
  • Works well within a Team environment
