Join our team of passionate professionals dedicated to excellence in property management and resident satisfaction!
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Make Ready/Maintenance Tech to join our team with Ambo Properties. This role is critical in preparing apartment homes for new residents, ensuring the property is clean, safe, and inviting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apartment Turnover: Perform "make ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, minor repairs, and appliance checks.
- Property Maintenance: Assist with general property upkeep, including picking up trash, landscaping, and maintaining curb appeal.
- Cleaning & Maintenance Support: Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and laundry rooms.
- Inspection Support: Assist with property inspections and ensure all areas are in compliance with safety standards.
- Work Orders: Address minor maintenance work orders when necessary and report any major repairs to the maintenance team.
- Resident Interaction: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward residents and guests while completing tasks efficiently and with care.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams to ensure the smooth operation of the property.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Make Ready/Porter or similar role in property management or maintenance preferred
- Basic knowledge of property maintenance tasks (painting, cleaning, minor repairs).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Drivers' License (Required)
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background/Drug screening (Required)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform outdoor tasks as needed.
