Description
Alloy Engineering is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth by developing business opportunities with nitric acid producers globally and managing clients within the South Central USA territory. This role focuses on building relationships, providing technical expertise in high-performance alloys, and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence within the nitric acid and assigned geography.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant engineers, project managers, and procurement specialists.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of alloy materials, corrosion resistance, and industry-specific challenges to provide technical solutions that address client needs.
  • Solution Selling: Guide clients through Alloy Engineering's product offerings, demonstrating the benefits of our solutions for their applications.
  • Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and production teams to align customer needs with Alloy Engineering's capabilities and production schedules.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Material Science, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the chemical, nitric acid, or metals/alloys industries.
  • Proven success in a sales role, with experience in solution-based and consultative sales.
  • Strong understanding of the nitric acid industry and the applications of high-performance alloys.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to travel within North America and Globally when required.
