    Job description

    Construction Project Manager
Location: North Phoenix, AZ| Schedule: Full-time
    Who We Are
At All Things Metal Industries, we don’t just build steel—we build people, relationships, and lasting careers. We’re proud to be a family-owned company that’s been recognized multiple times as one of Arizona’s Best Places to Work, and we take that seriously.
Our culture is fast-paced and driven, but also supportive and humble. We value teammates who are hungry to learn, smart in how they work, and humble enough to grow with others. This isn’t a place for short-term gigs—you’ll find steady work, opportunities to advance, and a team that truly has your back.
Whether it’s in the shop, the field, or the office, we believe in promoting from within, investing in our people, and helping each other reach the next level. If you’re looking for a long-term home where hard work meets big opportunity, All Things Metal is the place to be.
    ATM Steel
ATM Steel, formerly All Things Metal, is our structural steel fabrication and erection team. We focus on large-scale projects in the Phoenix area, bringing experience, capacity, and precision to every job. Our name reflects the size and scale of our work while staying true to the iron-strong relationships we’ve built over 22 years.
    Role Overview
The Project Manager at All Things Metal is the central driver of each project, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing work from start to finish. This role blends technical expertise with strong leadership, requiring you to oversee budgets, schedules, drawings, safety, and client relationships while ensuring profitability and quality.
But this isn’t just about spreadsheets and deadlines—it’s about grit, teamwork, and character. In the steel industry, change is constant, so our PMs must think on their feet, adapt quickly, and lead with humility. We value people who don’t shy away from challenges, who work under pressure with a “rhino dedication,” and who know how to balance determination at work with family and life outside of it.
We connect with the type who strives to “work to live” instead of “live to work.” You really do enjoy being around your team. But ultimately, you know when to put the tools down after a job well done and take care of yourself and your loved ones. And our community is made better because you do exactly that. If you’re the type of leader who can motivate teams, hold others accountable, solve problems without ego, and still have the heart to put the tools down at the end of the day for quality family time, you’ll fit right in here.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Manage projects from award to completion, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and adherence to schedule
    • Oversee material take-offs, detailing and erection labor, buyouts, freight, and overall project execution
    • Work with detailing subcontractors to ensure submittal and fabrication drawings are accurate and complete

    • Ensure workflow, production responsibilities, and compliance with safety requirements are followed
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
    • Be accountable for every aspect of the job, leading by example

    Qualifications
    • Valid Arizona driver’s license
    • Ability to pass background check and drug screening (drug- and alcohol-free workplace)
    • 3–5 years of experience as a project or construction manager
      • Preferably in the Steel Industry
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract documents, and project management strategies
    • Professional working proficiency in English required

    Skills & Abilities
    • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive team-player attitude
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
    • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
    • High integrity and commitment to company values
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-changing industry

    Schedule
    Business hours are M-Th 7am - 5pm and Fri 7am - 11am
