Position Overview

WH Bass, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Accountant to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting project teams and ensuring the financial success of our work. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Field Superintendents, and external partners, contributing to the full lifecycle of construction projects.


At WH Bass, you’ll experience a workplace where your contributions matter—not only to your team, but to the success of the company you help own.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up new projects, including entering project data and budgets into accounting systems
  • Coordinate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
  • Partner with subcontractors to collect compliance documentation (W-9s, certificates of insurance, etc.)
  • Process accounts payable invoices and maintain accurate financial records
  • Facilitate pay applications for clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Assemble close-out packages and warranty documentation to successfully complete projects
  • Provide support to Project Managers, Superintendents, and team members as needed
