Job description

AfterQuery is looking for creative, driven undergraduate students to join us for the summer as a Growth Intern. You'll help us expand AfterQuery's expert-network, drive on-campus engagement, and launch innovative initiatives that shape the future of AI and startups, all while gaining access to unique incentives and career opportunities. This is a high-agency role designed for students who thrive on building, experimenting, and leading.

About AfterQuery

  • AfterQuery is a research lab investigating the boundaries and capabilities of artificial intelligence through novel datasets and experimentation. Our customers are the foundation model labs, and we serve all of the frontier AI labs. We are based in San Francisco, CA, and have raised funding from top investors, including Y Combinator.

Who We're Looking For

  • Rising Seniors and Seniors graduating in Fall 2026, who are eager to dive in and make a mark early in their careers

  • Experience in Sales, Recruiting, or equivalent types of sourcing based positions

  • Strong, authentic presence on LinkedIn, X, and/or Instagram

  • Experience building or growing communities (on campus or online)

  • Passion for AI and startups

What You'll Do

  • Source and vet high-quality experts across domains to collaborate with the internal AfterQuery team on industry pushing datasets and benchmarks

  • Create high-impact, creative LinkedIn posts (beyond simple reshares; each post should be original and engaging)

  • Assist the growth team across a variety of operational tasks, including our outbound motion, marketing, events, partnerships, and more

  • Pitch and own a new, bold growth initiative (the highlight of your role)-this could be an event, long-form video, large partnership, research project, or new type of community engagement, supported by a generous budget and full backing from AfterQuery
