    Job description

    Job Summary:
    AMD is a leading company in next-generation computing experiences, focusing on AI and data centers. They are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of the AI Agent roadmap, ensuring the transformation of research into reliable software outcomes while collaborating with various teams.
    Responsibilities:
    • Own and drive the AI Agent roadmap execution from research to productization, including quarterly planning/OKRs and delivery commitments.
    • Convert research breakthroughs into crisp engineering plans and measurable milestones
    • Influence prioritization decisions balancing long-term algorithmic advancement with near-term product/customer needs
    • Drive cross-team execution (algorithm, software, hardware, platform) to ensure synchronized timelines, dependency management, and release readiness.
    • Consolidate customer requests and feedback into durable software features, tooling, test coverage, and process improvements; ensure learnings are reused across customers.
    • Proactively identify risks, execution gaps, and systemic bottlenecks; implement mitigation plans and hold teams accountable to closure.
    • Facilitate stakeholder communication and present technical progress, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership with clarity
    • Develop robust metrics and effective mechanisms for evaluating the impact of research on customer workloads and revenue, with a focus on continuous improvement.
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • Deep technical credibility in AI/ML systems
    • Hands-on execution mindset
    • Ability to go deep on design docs, model architectures, performance/debug issues, and complex customer environments
    • Drive clarity, ownership, and predictable delivery across teams
    • Own and drive the AI Agent roadmap execution from research to productization, including quarterly planning/OKRs and delivery commitments
    • Convert research breakthroughs into crisp engineering plans and measurable milestones
    • Influence prioritization decisions balancing long-term algorithmic advancement with near-term product/customer needs
    • Drive cross-team execution (algorithm, software, hardware, platform) to ensure synchronized timelines, dependency management, and release readiness

    • Experience productizing AI research into robust software deliverables
    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
