This CNC Machinist opening comes with a $2,500 sign-on bonus — $1,250 at 90 days and $1,250 at 6 months. What you'll be doing

  • Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, features, and tolerances.
  • Operating multiple Makino 4 & 5-Axis CNC milling machine centers, many with the help of automation.
  • Loading raw materials, securing workpieces, changing tools, and making offsets for efficient and accurate machining.
  • Inspecting and measuring finished parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools.
  • Reviewing and understanding CMM reports to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Completing inspection and production reports to ensure documentation and workflow accuracy.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

What we're looking for

We're looking for production team members with the aptitude, willingness, and proactivity to excel in a growing manufacturing environment.

Required

  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with a problem-solver mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and fellow machinists.
  • A proactive, self-driven work style with the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.

Preferred

  • Experience operating 4-5 axis Makino machines is a strong plus.

Pay, benefits and schedule

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule: Full Time, 2nd Shift
Sign-on bonus: $2,500 total — $1,250 at 90 days, $1,250 at 6 months
