Job description

Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services at a facility in Callaway County, Missouri. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat adult patients with speech, language, and swallowing needs.

Requirements
Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license.
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Experience with speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and treatment.
Ability to develop therapy goals and treatment plans for adult consumers.
Behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred.
Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to complete orientation and meet facility credentialing/security requirements.
Responsibilities
Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing functions using appropriate diagnostic tests.
Develop treatment goals and speech therapy treatment plans.
Provide evidence-based therapy for speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
Determine the need for referral to a medical specialist, dentist, or counselor as appropriate.
Interpret findings for clinical staff, consumers, and caregivers.
Complete documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and policies.
Ensure services are delivered safely and effectively.
Attend required orientation prior to beginning services.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
