Job description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned categories and commodities.
    • Lead supplier evaluations, RFQ events, negotiations, and contract management activities.
    • Analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, market conditions, and spend data to determine fair and reasonable cost position
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to align sourcing strategies with business requirements.
    • Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and industry developments to proactively address sourcing challenges.
    • Support supplier transitions and supply continuity planning.

Qualifications:

    • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual agreements
    • Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
    • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
    • 4-6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related purchasing functions.
    • Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategy development.
    • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Knowledge of sourcing best practices, cost analysis methodologies, and supplier performance management.

Additional Information:

    • Exercises independent judgment and decision-making within established policies and procedures.
    • Works with limited supervision and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Reports to the Sub-Contracts Director for the assigned commodity
