    Title: Lead Systems Platform Architect
    Location: O'Fallon, Missouri
    Duration: 12 Months
    Key Skills
    • F5 experience is a must
    • ISAM (Nice to have)
    • Middleware - JBOS TOMCAT and Apache
    • Network security and systems administration skills.
    • His role is more on the Middleware technology side but Network security F5 conceptual knowledge is critical
    • A lot of hands-on - more like a he is not going to build or install tomcat but designs a solution for application which used Tomcat.
    • Typically, Manager prefer someone who started as a web admin and transitioned to architect or more from Network architecture design to Middleware technology would a good match
    • Min 10+ years of IT is required with Network security or Middleware, 2-3 years of experience as an architect is required

    Job Description:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience needed.
    • What are your top 3 required technical skills?
    • Expertise in Network Connectivity - IPV4, IPV6 and PORT Assignment,
    • Expertise and SSL/TLS traffic flows and redirects
    • Experience with J2EE application servers JBoss/Tomcat and Web Servers (Apache)
    • What are a couple of desired/nice to have skills?
    • Designing secured transaction flow using F5 (BIG-IP) , Webseal/ISAM
    • Certificate management
    • Exposure to Pivotal Cloud Foundry

    Role
    • Interact with the development and project teams to transform business and technical requirements into logical and physical architecture design.
    • Collaborate with development teams to design web and middleware infrastructure.
    • Create solutions with high level of innovation, cost effectiveness, high quality and faster time to market.
    • Architect and provide technical leadership for major new initiatives.
    • Provide technical leadership, and mentor other technical resources.
    • Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional area of expertise.
    • Represent Service Delivery team as a subject matter expert in the infrastructure design domain.
    • Continually look for opportunities to create efficiencies and provide expertise to integrate technologies and platforms into current environments
    • Ability to work with team members located in multiple geographies and time zones.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision seeking direction as required.

    What you should have
    • Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
    • Understanding of hardware, networking, security and tools used to monitor, test and evaluate web/cloud technologies.
    • Expertise in Network Connectivity - IPV4, IPV6 and PORT Assignment,
    • Expertise in web traffic flows and redirects
    • Experience with Certificate management
    • Knowledge of J2EE application servers JBoss and Tomcat
    • Knowledge of Apache web server configuration
    • Expertise in designing and implementing systems with proper security controls
    • Expertise in designing secured transaction flow using F5 (BIG-IP) , Webseal/ISAM,
    • Experience with source/version control using Git and Bitbucket
    • Knowledge of firewall technologies such as Check Point
    • Desire to learn quickly and manage multiple projects at the same time
    • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
