Job Description
About the Achieve:
We believe our employees empower our company and drive our success. Achieve Test Prep is the nation's largest educational consultant and test prep center specializing in credit-by-examination degree paths, headquartered in Wayne, New Jersey.
Achieve supports working adults who face barriers to completing their education by acting as a counselor, advocate, and partner-helping them earn college credit faster, with less effort, and at a lower cost through standardized, industry-recognized examinations.
Employee engagement and development are central to our success. As a fully remote organization, Achieve offers flexible work schedules that promote work-life balance while fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equal-opportunity workplace.
NOTICE: It is essential to complete all pre-screeners during the application process. Applications without completed pre-screeners will not be considered.
Role Overview:
Achieve Test Prep is seeking a high-performing Customer Growth Specialist to join our Winback team. This role is focused on re-engaging former students who did not complete their program and guiding them back to completion.
This is not a traditional sales role. You will be working with warm leads individuals who already showed intent but require the right conversation, structure, and solution to return.
If you are confident handling objections, rebuilding trust, and closing revenue opportunities, this role is built for you.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Proactively reach out to former students who have withdrawn or become inactive
  • Identify barriers that prevented completion and reposition the program effectively
  • Present tailored solutions, including program re-entry, extensions, and financing options
  • Close re-enrollments and contribute directly to revenue growth targets
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, outcomes, and pipeline activity
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Enrollment, and Finance teams to remove friction in the re-enrollment process

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in sales, retention, collections, or account recovery
  • Strong objection-handling and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable having direct, sometimes difficult conversations with customers
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on closing and revenue impact
  • Ability to work independently in a high-performance environment
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, Kustomer, or similar) is a plus

What Success Looks Like?
  • Consistent reactivation of inactive or withdrawn customers
  • Strong conversion rates from outreach to re-enrollment
  • Contribution to monthly revenue and customer growth targets
  • High activity levels with effective follow-through
