Job description

Acuity is seeking a Sales Assistant - Digital Sales to provide administrative support to the licensed agent sales team throughout the sales process and during post-bind and post-sale activities. This role is responsible for following up with customers via phone and email, as well as quickly and accurately entering and updating related information within the agency's systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate and work closely with licensed agent sales team to support sales process and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist agents and customers with post-bind process to ensure proper steps are completed, documentation is collected and filed, payments are processed, and
  • Certificates of Insurance are issued.
  • Perform outbound follow up with customers via phone or email to collect, resend, and manage documents.
  • Support the sales outreach process, contacting unresponsive prospects on behalf of the licensed agents.
  • Update the Salesforce CRM system as new information is collected.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with clients when needed.
  • Field and redirect incoming sales calls and inquiries.
  • Adapt, flex, and be open to a changing environment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma. Post Secondary education helpful.
EXPERIENCE:
Data entry experience in a high-volume sales environment. Basic understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines insurance preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills - ability to efficiently work with multiple programs and platforms simultaneously.
  • Reliable, responsible, creative self-starter with a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team; capacity to work under pressure.

This job is classified as nonexempt.
The salary range for this position is $26-32 an hour. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
