The Field Service Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing electrical equipment such as elevators, lifts, and ramps. Working primarily within a designated state or region, this position involves direct customer interaction and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. The technician performs on-site diagnostics, installations, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on electrical equipment, elevators, lifts, and ramps
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues on-site
- Install new equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Provide direct customer support and maintain positive client relationships
- Document technical procedures and service activities accurately
- Conduct on-site diagnostics to identify faults and required repairs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in field service roles
- Valid driver’s license for regional travel
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical repair
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and technical reporting
- Strong customer service skills and safety protocol adherence
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Mechanical aptitude relevant to equipment serviced
